[It is the purpose of this chapter subsection(o) to set forth the regulations, provisions, and elements associated withthe Renewable Fuel Program. The program which mandates that no later than 1 year after August 8, 2005, theAdministrator shall promulgate regulations to ensure that gasoline sold or introduced into commerce in the UnitedStates, on an annual average basis, contains the applicable volume of renewable fuel determined in accordance withsubparagraph (B).]42 U.S.C.A. § 7671aTitle 42. In addition, the Administrator shall publish the chlorine and bromine loading potential and theatmospheric lifetime of each listed substance. One year after November 15, 1990 (one year after the addition of asubstance to either of such lists in the case of a substance added after the publication of the initial lists of suchCEES Page | Y
substances), and after notice and opportunity for public comment, the Administrator shall publish the greenhousegas potential of each listed substance. The preceding sentence shall not be construed to be the basis of any additionalregulation under this chapter. In the case of the substances referred to in table 1, the ozone-depletion potential shallbe as specified in table 1, unless the Administrator adjusts the substance's ozone-depletion potential based on criteriareferred to in section 7671(10) of this title:42 U.S.C.A. § 8258aTitle 42.
