CHAPTER 9 - TECHNICAL INFORMATIONPower RequirementsThe <strong>EnteraLite</strong> ® AC Adapter/Charger, 11938-001, requires 105 to 129 VAC, 60 Hz, anda minimum current capacity of 0.22 Amp. Output is 12 VDC and 1.5 Amp.Where the integrity of the external protective conducter in the installation or its arrangementis in doubt, equipment shall be operated from its internal electrical power source.The Universal AC Adapter/Charger, 19162-002, 19162-003, 19162-010 requires 100 to240 VAC, 50-60 Hz, and a minimum current capacity of 0.75 Amp (for 100 VAC) or 0.35Amp (for 240 VAC).Operational ConditionsThe <strong>EnteraLite</strong> ® is designed in accordance with IEC 60601-1 to operate in a temperaturerange of 50 °F to 104 °F (10 °C to 40 °C) and in a relative humidity range of 30%to 75%.<strong>EnteraLite</strong> ® Disposable Set DisplacementThe <strong>EnteraLite</strong> ® Disposable Set displaces approximately 13 ml of fluid when primed.Approximately 3 ml of air is drawn into the tubing before the enteral pump detects thatthe bag is empty. Therefore, approximately 10 ml of fluid remains in the disposable setwhen the pump stops feeding. (These values vary by approximately 0.5 ml, dependingon whether the batteries are low or fully charged).31
