3.2 Modifi ed Police Offi cers Basic Course<br />
The residential modifi ed POBC will equip you with the knowledge, skills and values<br />
required for non-operational police work. Upon graduation from the Home Team<br />
Academy, you will be deployed to work alongside with the regular offi cers in<br />
Singapore Police Force.<br />
The course consists of the following subjects:<br />
• Criminal Laws<br />
• Police Operations and Procedures<br />
• Foot-drill<br />
• Human Relations and Community Policing<br />
3.3 Police Offi cers Basic Course for Special Constable<br />
The residential POBC for Special Constable will equip you with the knowledge,<br />
skills and values required for operational police work. Upon graduation from the<br />
Home Team Academy, you will be deployed to work alongside the regular offi cers<br />
in the Singapore Police Force.<br />
The course consists of the following subjects:<br />

Foot-drill, Weapon Training,<br />
