4.3 The T-Baton<br />
You will be trained in using the T-Baton<br />
effectively. The T-Baton is an effective<br />
non-lethal weapon used by frontline<br />
offi cers. The short handle gives the<br />
offi cer a handhold to prevent a subject<br />
from wrestling the baton away.<br />
4.4 Weapon Training<br />
The OCTs and SCs will undergo weapon<br />
training to handle the Taurus .38<br />
light revolver, with built-in laser light,<br />
profi ciently. All trainees will also learn<br />
safety and precautionary measures<br />
when handling fi rearms.<br />
