We arrive in Venice and uponarrival we transfer to our ship and getsettled. This evening we enjoy our firstdelicious dinner aboard. Venice is built on118 islands, criss-crossed by 160 canalsand linked by 400 foot bridges. There areno roads, only canals, and no trafficexcept for water taxis and gondolas. Ourship overnights here so there is time toabsorb this city's unusual sights, soundsand unique Byzantine atmosphere.AT SEA.
