Early departure for Johannesburg.JOHANNESBURG. We arrive in Johannesburgand transfer to our Country Hotel on the outskirtsof the city. This evening we enjoy WelcomeCocktails and our Welcome Dinner.JOHANNESBURG & SOWETO. We start with atour of Johannesburg and a visit to the ApartheidMuseum. In the afternoon we visit the township ofSoweto, the most populous black urbanresidential area in the country. Soweto sets thetrends for South Africa in politics, fashion, music,dance and language. You will never forget yourvisit here.VICTORIA <strong>FALL</strong>S. We fly to Victoria Falls andupon arrival transfer to our Lodge. Dinner is aspecial African experience.VICTORIA <strong>FALL</strong>S. We enjoy a morning tour ofthe Falls - a sight to behold! Afternoon at leisure.This evening is a sunset cruise on the ZambeziRiver.CHOBE. We transfer to a safari lodge nearChobe National Park. The park is home to asplendid variety of wildlife, including hippo andelephants that troll the river paths to drink. Wetake our first game cruise in the late afternoon.CHOBE. On our morning game drive we enjoythe wonderful surroundings of wild Africa! In theafternoon we take a boat ride along theriverbanks and get up close and personal with thebounty of Chobe as we view herds of Kudu,waterbuck and possibly elephants coming to theriver to drink.JOHANNESBURG. We fly back to Johannesburgand transfer to our hotel. Afternoon at leisure.KRUGER NATIONAL PARK AREA. We drive tothe world-renowned Kruger National Park area -wildlife viewing at its best! The park offers thenature lover an experience in beauty, tranquilityand variety not found anywhere else in the world.Our hotel is located just outside the Park.KRUGER NATIONAL PARK. A full day of gameviewing in open safari vehicles. We start early inthe morning, the best time to find the world'slargest variety of wildlife including the Big Five(lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo), hippo,cheetah, giraffe, zebra and crocodile. The park isalso home to more than 400 bird species.KRUGER NATIONAL PARK AREA. A morning atleisure to enjoy the various activities at the hotel.Relax by the pool, do some game or birdwatching or perhaps take a nature walk. Later weDAY 13DAY 14DAY 15DAY 16DAY 17DAY 18DAY 19DAY 20DAY 21depart for our evening game drive to see if we cancatch some nocturnal animals in the spotlight.KRUGER NATIONAL PARK AREA. We take amorning tour to the majestic Blyde River Canyonto see God's Window and Bourke's Luck Potholes- true natural wonders. Dinner will be at theShangana Cultural Village, which is located on areserve of natural forest and grasslands. Here,we hear the story of the Shangaan nation andsavor various native dishes - a meal to remember!GARDEN ROUTE. We transfer to the airport forour flight to George, on South Africa's fabledGarden Route. Our hotel overlooks the ocean.GARDEN ROUTE. Today we travel toOudtshoorn to visit a local ostrich farm where themore adventurous may ride one! Then we visit theCango Caves, whose beauty will leave a lastingimpression. There will be some time at leisure inthe afternoon to enjoy the ocean and facilities ofour beachfront hotel. Tonight we enjoy dinnerwith a South African family.GARDEN ROUTE. We travel to the quaintseaside resort town of Knysna and enjoy thepeaceful ambience of the town and its waterfront.We take a ferry ride to the Featherbed NatureReserve, a privately owned reserve dedicated tothe protection of the flora of the Garden Route.We enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the reserve.Dinner is at a special seafood restaurant.GARDEN ROUTE / CAPE TOWN. Our GardenRoute drive takes us along the coast, aroundlakes, mountains, golden beaches, cliffs andforests - an enchanting drive with a romantichistory. We arrive in Cape Town and take a cablecar ride up Table Mountain for panoramic views.CAPE TOWN. Our tour of Cape Town shows usthe Malay Quarter, the South Africa Museum, theKirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and more.Afternoon at leisure to shop and people watch atthe Victoria & Alfred waterfront area.CAPE TOWN. A full day tour to Cape Point. Aftera boat ride to Seal Island we continue south toCape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. We willsee the colonies of seals and penguins in theirnatural environment. The abundant flora hereincludes South Africa's national flower, the KingProtea. Tonight is our Farewell Dinner.CAPE TOWN. Our Winelands tour takes usthrough lovely scenery of vineyards, oak shadedrivers and old Dutch colonial homes. We enjoy atasting in a wine cellar and lunch at a private estate.In Stellenbosch we visit the Village Museum, thentransfer to the airport for our flight home.HOME. We fly home via London73.
