TENTATIVE ITINERARY FOR NEW YORK & WASHINGTONDAY 1DAY 2DAY 3DEPARTURE / ALBANY. Departure frompre-determined pick-up points in theToronto / Hamilton area. We then travelthrough the lovely scenery of New YorkState to arrive at our stopover point, thestate capital of Albany. Tonight we enjoya seafood dinner.NEW YORK CITY. We proceed to NewYork City and upon arrival we begin ourtouring. We will see Times Square,Central Park and many other sights. Wethen continue to the Empire StateBuilding for a visit of this amazinglandmark and take in the views from theobservation deck at the top. After our tourwe proceed to our hotel in New Jersey forcheck in and some leisure time beforedinner tonight.NEW YORK CITY. A full day ofsightseeing in the "Big Apple". We will seethe major highlights; the Chryslerbuilding, Rockefeller Center, Soho, thefamous shops of Fifth Avenue and somebeautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge.This afternoon we embark on a narratedharbour cruise to the Statue of Liberty.Our on-board guide will bring New York'ssights and fascinating history to life whilewe enjoy views of the most famousskyline in the world.DAY 5DAY 6DAY 7DAY 8DAY 9WASHINGTON, D.C. We depart NewYork and proceed to Washington, D.C.Upon arrival we will check into our hoteland enjoy a free afternoon and dinner.WASHINGTON. Today we will have a fullday guided tour of Washington. The tourincludes a visit to many monuments andmemorials including the WashingtonMonument, Arlington Cemetery, the U.S.Capital Building and the White HouseVisitor's Centre. Lunch is included today.WASHINGTON. Another full day ofguided touring in Washington with our firststop being the Smithsonian InstituteMuseum. In the afternoon we visit GeorgeWashington's home, "Mount Vernon" totour the grounds and the house.LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.We enjoy a scenic drive through thecountryside to Lancaster County, wherewe will have a guided tour of AmishCountry, followed by a home-stylesmorgasbord dinner at a local restaurant.HOME. We continue our drive northwardsto Hamilton and Toronto, arriving lateafternoon.DAY 4NEW YORK CITY. This morning wereturn to New York City for a free day ofsightseeing and shopping. There will be anumber of scheduled drop-off and pick-uppoints throughout the city toaccommodate a variety of interests. Youmay want to take the ferry to StatenIsland, explore the artist enclave ofGreenwich Village or visit one of the manyfantastic museums the city has to offer.89.
