December 19, <strong>2011</strong> (Regular Meeting) Page 904Field Preparation:Field Preparation Supplies:The county will provide the initial fieldpreparation which will be completed by 5:00 pmon Friday before tournament.(Optional) $75.00 (includes drag, line marker,4 bags of marking dust per day) . Tournamentdirector can drag fields but only small utilitytype vehicles may be used (Gator, Kubotas,etc. )Miscellaneous * Ref. Page 19 Tournament organizers are responsible forpicking up trash from dugouts and bleachersseating area and putting in trash cans or trashbags. Park staff will empty trash cansregularly during the tournament.Tournament organizer/site personnel must meetwith the park ranger prior to leaving thefacili ty at the end of each day to ensure thefacility is cleaned.Restrooms will be monitored and cleaned by parkstaff.Tournament organizers will be responsible forinsuring that alcohol and tobacco policies arefollowed. Failure to comply my result intournament cancellation. No refunds will beallowed if termination occurs.Pop up tents are not allowed to be freestanding - they must be staked into the groundat all times. Tournament director isresponsible for helping monitor this andinforming coaches and spectators of thispolicy.Tournament directors should assist parkmanagement in keeping the area/doors around theconcession stand, bathrooms, and score towerfree from chairs, tents, and team equipment.Lights:Concessions:CancellationsLights are included in the tournament rentalfees.Lights will come on 15 <strong>minutes</strong> prior to sunsetand go off 30 <strong>minutes</strong> after the. completion ofthe final game (no later than 5:15 duringNovember, 9:15 in March and 9:15 AprilOctober.If lights need to be turned on earlier becauseof overcast skies, the park ranger will need tobe notified by tournament staff.Concessions are operated by a third partyvendor and not the <strong>Cabarrus</strong> <strong>County</strong> ParksDepartment. It is in their contract that theconcession stand must remain open during theentire length of the tournament. If you findthem closing early, please notify the ParkProgram Manager.There is no penalty if a tournament directorcancels a tournament by 5: 00 pm on theWednesday prior to the tournament.There Hill be a $50.00 cancellation fee for anytournament date cancelled (not Heather related)before the 5:00 pm.Wednesday deadline prior to the tournament.This fee must bepaid before your ne2:t tournament.A tournament cancelled after 5:00 pm (nonweather related) on the Wednesday prior to thetournament, will face the following penalties:First Cancellation: $100.00Second Cancellation: $150.00
