6 RegistrationDrop/Withdrawal Functionality• “Setting Up Alternate PIN Processing” on page 6-107, which provides detailedsteps for setting up alternate PIN processing• “Setting Up Registration Permit-Overrides” on page 6-110, which providesdetailed steps for setting up registration permit overrides• “Using Registration on the Web” on page 6-116, which provides step-by-stepproceduresDrop/Withdrawal FunctionalityThis section uses the following terminology related to drops/withdrawals.• “Connected” refers to classes that are associated with each other via corequisites,prerequisites, or links.• “Connection” refers to a set of connected classes. For example, the connectedclasses of Biology 101 lecture and lab (co-requisites) would be considered aconnection.Classes cannot be dropped via the Web and refunded at 100% unless the drop meetscriteria specified on the Crosswalk Validation Form (GTVSDAX) and has beenassigned the appropriate setup code (allowing a course to be dropped and refundedat 100%) on the Course Registration Status Form (SFARSTS) (for traditionalcourses) or Schedule Processing Rules Form (SSARULE) (for Open Learningcourses).
