7 <strong>Student</strong> RecordsSetting Up <strong>Student</strong> Records on the WebSetting Up the Web Transcript Requests1. On the <strong>Self</strong>-<strong>Service</strong> Print Options tab of the Transcript Type Rules Form(SHATPRT), take the following actions.• If you want students to be able to request that transcripts be sent viaelectronic data interchange (EDI), select the Allow EDI Transcripts onthe Web checkbox.• If you want to allow students to be able to specify that transcript requestsbe held until grades have been posted, select the Allow Hold for End ofTerm Processing checkbox.• If you want to allow students to be able to specify that transcript requestsbe held until degrees have been posted, select the Allow Hold for DegreeProcessing checkbox.2. In the <strong>Service</strong> Level block of the <strong>Self</strong>-<strong>Service</strong> Print Options tab of SHATPRT,take the following actions.• In the Code field, enter or select the self-service option code to beassociated with the transcript request type.• In the Type field, enter the code for the type of Accounts Receivableaccount the charges associated with the transcript request will be posted.Valid values are S (<strong>Student</strong>) and M (Miscellaneous).• In the Charge field, enter the monetary amount of the charge associatedwith the self-service option code entered in Code field. The systemautomatically defaults the charge value defined on the Web <strong>Self</strong>-<strong>Service</strong>Options Validation Form (STVWSSO), but you can change it.• In the Per field, enter the code for the indicator for whether the optionwill be charged per transcript request. Valid values are R for per-requestand C for per-copy.3. If you want to associate a fee with Web transcript requests, in the PaymentOptions block, in the Code field, select the payment option code to beassociated with the transcript type.4. On the Web <strong>Self</strong> <strong>Service</strong> Option Code Validation Form (STVWSSO), define thedelivery methods and their associated charges.5. On the Web Payment Option Code Validation Form (STVWPYO), define thepayment methods.
