Suratul Fatiha - Hujjat Workshop

A great description of the Rabb and birr comes to us in aquotation from the Prophet Ibrahim in the Qur’an. Whenasked ‘Who is your Lord?’ he replies:اىَّزٌِ‏ خَيَقٍَِْ‏ فَهُىَ‏ ‏َهِذَِِ‏وَاىَّزٌِ‏ ‏ُٕىَ‏ ‏َُطْعٍَُِِْ‏ وََسِقِنيِ‏وَإِرَا ‏ٍَشِظِذُ‏ فَهُىَ‏ ‏َشِفِنيِ‏وَاىَّزٌِ‏ ‏ََُُِزٍُِْ‏ ثٌَُّ‏ ‏َُذُِِنيِ‏وَاىَّزٌِ‏ ؤَطَْعُ‏ ؤَُ‏ ‏َغِفِشَ‏ ىٍِ‏ خَطُِئَزٍِ‏ ‏َىًَِ‏ اىذَِِّ‏‘It is He who created me and it is He who will guide me. WhenI am hungry, He will give me provisions of food and drink.When I am out of balance or sick, He will heal me. It is He whowill give me the experience of death and will also resurrectme. He is the One from whom I have the expectation(undeserved) that He will forgive me on the Day of Reckoning.I know that He is all-Forgiving’ (Qur’an 26:78-82).It is knowledge of one’s Rabb and loyalty towards Him such asthis that leads to the evolvement of the fitra in man.www.qfatima.com Page 47
