Suratul Fatiha - Hujjat Workshop

RUKOOImam Sadiq (A.S.) has said: “The rukoo is politeness and thesujood is proximity. When the aya of Suratul Waqia 56:74 wasrevealed; Rasulullah (S.A.W.) said – “Recite this in your rukoo”فَسَجِّخِ‏ ثِبسٌِِ‏ سَثِّلَ‏ اىْعَظٌُِِ‏Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.SUJOODImam Sadiq (A.S.) has said: “By Allah, he will not be a loserwho performs the sujood as it should be even for a single timein his life….So let your sujood be that of a submissive humbleperson who knows he has been created from dust…..” “Theconcept of sujood has been made by Allah as a means to getclose to Him with the heart….”When the first aya of Suratul A’laa was revealed, Rasulullah(S.A.W.) said “Recite this in your sujood.”سَجِّخِ‏ اسٌَِ‏ سَثِّلَ‏ اىْإَعِيًَ‏Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High… 87:1When you go down for the first sajda, think ‘I can’t get close toYou as there are so many things stopping me from gettingcloser to You’. That is when you get up and ask for Istighfarand think ‘Ya Allah I know I can’t get close to You becausethings are not sorted out and therefore I am asking forforgiveness’. Then go down for the second sajda. This is thesajda of proximity. You are so close to Him, you don’t want toget up. You are now in the world of wahdaniyyat. It is a placeto ask Him. It is mustahab to prolong the sujood. Imam Ali(A.S.) has said that if the human being knew the blessingsdescending on him in sujood; he would not lift his head.www.qfatima.com Page 69
