Disconnect all sources of power (AC and DC) before installing orremoving any modules or wiring.MS-9600 Keypad/Display RemovalRemoval of the keypad/display is normally not necessary. If, however, it becomesnecessary to replace the keypad/display, access the auxiliary trouble bus connectors atJ16 and J17 or install future option modules, the Keypad/Display can be removed byinserting a Phillips screwdriver into each of the three holes located in the flexiblecovering of the Keypad/Display and loosening the three mounting screws. Note that itis not necessary to disconnect the cables between the Keypad/Display and the maincircuit board unless the unit itself is being replaced. 2.6.1 4XTMF Transmitter Module InstallationThe 4XTMF provides a supervised output for a local energy municipal box transmitterin addition to alarm and trouble reverse polarity. A jumper option allows the reversepolarity circuit to open with a system trouble condition if no alarm condition exists. Adisable switch allows disabling of the transmitter output during testing to preventaccidental calling of the monitoring service.Local Energy Municipal Box Service (NFPA 72 Auxiliary Fire Alarm Systems):Supervisory Current: 5.0 mATrip Current: 350 mA (subtracted from notification appliance power)Coil Voltage: 3.65 VDCMaximum Coil Resistance: 14.6 ohmsMaximum allowable wire resistance between panel and trip coil: 3 ohmsMunicipal Box wiring can leave the buildingRemote Station Service (NFPA 72 Remote Station Fire Alarm Systems) - Intendedfor connection to a polarity reversal circuit or a Remote Station receiving unithaving compatible ratings:Maximum load for each circuit: 10 mAReverse polarity output voltage: 24 VDCRemote Alarm and Remote Trouble wiring can leave the buildingBefore installing the module, place the disconnect switch to the right (disconnect)position to prevent accidental activation of the municipal box.
