Basics in ERP, production control and planning<br />
In-depth understanding of correlations in production management and<br />
logistics in today´s production systems. Ability to analyse and redesign<br />
strategic and operational production and logistic systems while using recent<br />
methods and tools.<br />
Holistic knowledge and understanding about modern production organisation<br />
inside and between production process chains (supply chain management,<br />
value stream mapping,…)<br />
� Basics of contemporary production organisation, economical and<br />
organisational subsumption of value streams and their aims.<br />
� Strategic directions of production and metalogistic systems for<br />
adding corporate value. Methods for strategic design of corporate<br />
logistics and of production equipment.<br />
� Strategic and organisational design of purchasing logistics.<br />
Knowledge about the relationship between client and supplier.<br />
Design of systems for procurement logistics. Strategic and<br />
organisational design of procurement logistics.<br />
� Analysis and design of supply chains using the methods of value<br />
stream mapping. Aspects of redesigning entire business processes<br />
(BPM).<br />
� Basics of Toyota Production Systems (TPS). Holistic aims following<br />
this philosophy. The elements of TPS; how to implement and use<br />
them.<br />
� Design of material flow systems, means of conveyance, means of<br />
storage (design and usage).<br />
� International aspects in design of industrial factories. Basics and<br />
methods of location choice, plant design and layout planning.<br />
