COCHISE COLLEGE FALL <strong>2009</strong> SCHEDULE OF CLASSES 15Pell Grant, SEOG, and ACG are subject to this repayment provision. Students who havereceived student loan funds are responsible for completing an exit interview and for notifyingtheir lender of the withdrawal. The federal work-study program is not subject to therefund policy.The withdrawal date is the date:• The student began the withdrawal process prescribed by the institution.• The student otherwise provided the school with official notification of the intent towithdraw; or,• For the student who does not begin the school’s withdrawal process or notify the schoolof the intent to withdraw, the midpoint of the payment period or period of enrollmentfor which Title IV assistance was disbursed (unless the institution can document a laterdate).The percentage of the payment period or period of enrollment completed for which assistancewas awarded is calculated by dividing the total number of calendar days comprising thepayment period or period of enrollment for which the assistance is awarded into the numberof calendar days completed in that period as of the day the student withdrew.For additional policy and regulatory information, contact the Financial Aid Office.Veterans Assistance and BenefitsThe Veterans Affairs Office provides information and assistance to students applying forVA educational benefits. The office staff also serves as liaison between <strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> studentsand the Veterans’ Administration. A Semester Benefit Request form must be submittedfor each semester that the veteran wants to receive benefits.Services offered include:n Help collecting, filling out, and filing all necessary documents and forms;n Enrollment certification for veterans and dependents using veterans’ educational benefits; andn Assistance in applying for other types of financial aid.The Veterans Affairs Office is located in the Student Services Building on the Sierra VistaCampus. A counselor is also available in the One-Stop Building on the Douglas Campus.Regular office hours are observed.TUITION WAIVER PROGRAMSNew Mexico WaiverA special tuition agreement for full-time students exists between <strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> andWestern New Mexico University. If you are interested, you may contact the Admissions Officefor more information.Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Waiver<strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> is a member of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program. Ifyou are a resident of one of the participating states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii,Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah,Washington or Wyoming, you may be eligible for this tuition waiver for full-time students.Contact the Admissions Office for more information.
