18COCHISE COLLEGE FALL 2009 SCHEDULE OF CLASSESCancelled ClassesIf a class is cancelled by the college, you will receive a full refund of all fees attributable tothe cancelled class(es), including tuition and lab fees (registration and technology fees arerefundable when all of your classes have been cancelled by the college). No documentation isneeded for refunds due to cancelled classes.Room and Board RefundsStudents are eligible for a 50 percent refund of room fees if leaving residence 21 days afterthe first day of classes of each semester, or 21 days from the start date of a specific programin which they are enrolled. Room fees will not be reimbursed after the 21st day as specifiedabove. Refund of meal plan fees will be prorated based on the first of the month following astudent’s withdrawal from the meal plan. No refunds of meal plan fees will be granted forwithdrawal after the first Monday in November for the fall semester, the first Monday in Aprilfor the regular spring semester, or the first Monday in May for the spring aviation programs.If you withdraw from a residence hall only, and not from the college, you must do so officiallythrough the director of housing.If you withdraw totally from the college, you must do so officially through Records andRegistration or through your CC Account online.Issuance of RefundsRefunds for students receiving federal financial assistance are subject to federal regulations.All refunds will be issued by check unless fee payment was made by credit card. In this case,refunds will be credited to the credit card account. The college will begin processing refundchecks after the close of registration (the last day to add classes). Please allow three weeks forprocessing from that date or the date the refund is created, whichever is later. Checks will bemailed to the address on file with the Registrar's Office. No refunds will be issued in cash, andno refunds will be issued immediately upon withdrawal from a class, class cancellation, orwithdrawal from a residence hall.Refund ScheduleThe refund schedule applies to all students except Title IV recipients who withdraw fromall classes.
