16COCHISE COLLEGE FALL <strong>2009</strong> SCHEDULE OF CLASSESArizona-Sonoran AgreementTuition waivers are available to students from Sonora through an agreement between theArizona-Mexico Commission and the Comisión Sonora-Arizona. Qualifying students fromSonora who are studying in Arizona may pay in-state tuition for a maximum of two years.Students from Arizona who wish to study in Sonora have a series of educational and livingoptions available. For more information, visit www.iesa.gob.mx or contact the DouglasCampus One Stop at (520) 417-4038 or (520) 417-4042.Senior Citizens - Golden Apache Tuition WaiverIf you are an Arizona resident who lives in <strong>Cochise</strong> County or an adjacent unorganizedcounty (Apache, Gila, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz Counties), and are 60 years or older, you mayapply for a "Golden Apache" tuition waiver. This waiver allows a 50-percent tuition discountof the regular in-state tuition rate. Registration fees, lab fees, bookstore charges, AviationMaintenance, Avionics and flight tuition and fees, and noncredit courses are not included inthis discount. You must meet in-state residency requirements for tuition purposes. Waiverscannot be accepted retroactively. Applications for the waiver may be picked up in theAdmissions Office.NOTE: THE DOUGLAS AND SIERRA VISTA CAMPUSES AREUNDER CONSTRUCTION. WATCH FOR DETOURS ANDCLOSURES AND CHECK YOUR COLLEGE E-MAILOR THE WEB SITE FOR UPDATES.PAYMENT OF FEESStudents are required to pay all tuition and fees as the last step of the registration process.If you have been awarded financial aid, your registration will be retained, and you will not bedropped for non-payment. If you wish to drop, you must formally withdraw from class/es. Toarrange partial payments, refer to the online (Facts/e-Cashier) payment plan information atwww.cochise.edu or in the Payment Methods section of this schedule.A student will not be allowed to attend class and will not receive credit for any course unlessall tuition and fees have been paid. The following applies to the payment of fees:• You are required to pay any money owed the college before being allowed to register forclasses, before grades or a transcript can be issued, and before you can be certified forgraduation.• You may pay for your classes online and/or sign up for a payment plan usinge-Cashier. Go to www.cochise.edu and click Pay Online to learn more and to reviewinstructions for setting up your account.• A check for payment of tuition and fees can only be made out for the total amount oftuition, fees and any outstanding indebtedness. Your registration is not complete untilyour check has cleared. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, <strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> willassess a service fee, and the student may be dropped from classes.• Book purchases must be paid by cash, check or credit card at the time of purchase. If youare receiving veteran's benefits, payment for books may be deferred after meeting withthe coordinator of veterans affairs.• All past due amounts may be sent to collections, and you will be responsible for allcourt costs and attorney fees.Payment DeadlinesYour registration may be cancelled if your fees are not paid on the day that you register.<strong>Cochise</strong> <strong>College</strong> may not automatically drop you from unpaid classes you are attending. Toavoid having an outstanding balance due, be sure to drop any class you do not wish to take.
