Authorized Speed LimitAuthorized speed limit for the vehicle at the time of the crash. The authorization may beindicated by the posted speed limit, blinking sign at construction zones, restricted speed forpermitted vehicles, etc. This is important for evaluation purposes in spite of the fact that thespeed of the vehicle at the time of the crash may differ significantly from the authorizedspeed limit.
