After death, a human body is not considered to be a person.Physical Impairment: a condition that results in some decrease in a physical ability.Point of Impact: the portion of the vehicle that impacted first in a crash.Pole Trailer: a trailer designed to be attached to the towing vehicle by means of a reachor pole, or by being boomed or otherwise secured to the towing road vehicle, andordinarily used for carrying property of a long or irregular shape.Private Road or Driveway: includes every road or driveway not open for the use of thepublic as a matter of right or custom for the purpose of vehicular traffic.Property: is any physical object other than a person.Includes:Real property, personal property, animals (wild or domestic), signs, guardrails, impact attenuators, and others.Property Damage Only: <strong>Crash</strong> in which at least one vehicle is damaged or other propertydamage occurs but no occupants or non-motorists are injured.Public Vehicular Area: includes any area that is generally open to and used by the publicfor vehicular traffic, including by way of illustration and not limitation any drive, driveway,road, roadway, street, alley, or parking lot upon the grounds and premises of:a. Any public or private hospital, college, university, school, orphanage, church,or any of the institutions, parks or other facilities maintained and supported bythe state of <strong>North</strong> <strong>Carolina</strong> or any of its subdivisions; orb.
