Nevada $2502.2.1 Sponsorships & PartnershipsCritical to any chapter’s financial viability istheir sponsorship program. Some chapters runformal campaigns while others use a more informalapproach. For those chapters that ran formalsponsorship campaigns, the average number ofsponsors added due to the campaign was 16 foran average total value of $3K/sponsor. The Top10 chapters based on the number of sponsors aredetailed in Table 2.5 below.Chapters listed a total of 453 National Membercompanies that sponsored chapters in 2012 of the1,014 total sponsorships chapters received in 2012.Therefore, 45% of sponsors were also nationalmembers of USGBC. National members are keystakeholders within the green building movement,and accordingly, should be further engaged inchapter initiatives and programs while chapters alsodiversify their funding beyond traditional sources.From 2011 to 2012, chapters were able to retainapproximately 73% of their sponsors.
