As such,resources <strong>of</strong> this nature are available to fund future capital projects, operating needs and/orunforeseen contingencies for any lawful purpose <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> university.E & G PART IThe E&G Part I discretionary reserves were $6,772,074 on June 30, 2008. $955,918<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> balance has been budgeted to balance <strong>the</strong> fiscal year 2009 E&G Part I Budget, leavingdiscretionary reserves <strong>of</strong> $5,816,156.E & G PART IIThe E&G Part II discretionary reserves were $266,170 on June 30, 2008.AUXILIARY ENTERPRISESStudent Activities reserves were $94,220 at June 30, 2008. Student Activitiesworking capital requirements are $42,552 leaving discretionary reserves <strong>of</strong> $51,668.Miscellaneous Auxiliary reserves were $4,136,437 at June 30, 2008. MiscellaneousAuxiliary working capital requirements are $3,774,112 leaving Miscellaneous Auxiliarydiscretionary reserves <strong>of</strong> $362,325.Student Facility reserves were $1,166,912 at June 30, 2008. He also introduced two new vice presidents thatwere attending <strong>the</strong>ir first Regents’ meeting, Dr. Richard Beck, who has beenVice President <strong>of</strong> Academic Affairs for 70 days, and Dr. Tobie Titsworth,Vice President for Student Affairs for eight days. The President was pleasedto announce that <strong>the</strong> RSU public television station was to air <strong>the</strong> firstPresidential forum live and that people would be able to submit questions for<strong>the</strong> candidates to <strong>the</strong> national center. He reported that enrollment is stable,with about <strong>the</strong> same number <strong>of</strong> students as last year taking more credit hours.
