They eliminate costly downtime during installation andadjustment. The segmental rim is bolted to a solid or split body.That means bodies or entire sprockets may be replaced withoutremoving shaft or bearings, saving maintenance time andmoney.Reduce the weight of a large sprocket and facilitate handlingwith lightening holes. Standard best fit patterns are used unlesshole size, quantity, and bolt circle are specified. Burned orLASER cut profiles can also be furnished in standard sprockets.Split ConstructionSprockets with split construction make it easier tomount or remove a sprocket from the shaft withoutdisturbing either the shaft or the bearings.
