Mastersingers/Jazz Choir (West #7342)Fee: Provide concert attireThis choir is a group of singers plus an accompanying ensemble all chosen by audition. In order to beeligible to participate in this ensemble, students must also be a member of another large ensemble.Through participation students will begin a study of the vocal jazz idiom including some improvisation andscat singing. Not only is the music varied in style anddifficulty, but attention will be placed on developing the student’s individual musical proficiency.
