Criminal Justice(<strong>Course</strong> #1412)This one semester elective course allows students to examine the background and current status <strong>of</strong> ourlegal system. Topics such as constitutional law, law enforcement, the trial system and corrections are part<strong>of</strong> the curriculum. Student skills developed in the course will include discussion/debate, group work,research and writing, and analysis <strong>of</strong> current events.AP Psychology (<strong>Course</strong> #1422)The purpose <strong>of</strong> this one‐year Advanced Placement course in Psychology is to introduce students to thesystematic and scientific study <strong>of</strong> the behavior and mental processes <strong>of</strong> human beings and other animals.Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each <strong>of</strong> themajor subfields within psychology. They also learn about the methods psychologists use in their scienceand practice.
