Before you travel...WHEEL LUGSWARNING: Wheel lug nuts must be applied and maintained at theproper torque levels to prevent loose wheels, broken studs, and possibleseparation of the wheel(s) from your trailer. The lug nuts on the wheelsof your Jayco trailer must be maintained according to the torque valueslisted in the chart on the following page. Over torquing and/or undertorquing wheels may result in component failure.After your first trip, check the wheel lugs periodically for safety. Check the wheel lugsafter winter storage, before starting a trip or following extensive braking. Tighten the nuts in the sequence shown in Fig. 4.3. Tighten the lug nuts equally in stages as indicated for your trailer's wheels in thechart.4.
