If the Wherifone receives a GSM signal, but no GPS signalis available, a tower-based location report is available to authoritiesin the event of an emergency. If a GPS signal is available, butthe Wherifone is outside the GSM network coverage area or doesnot receive a GSM signal, no location report can be provided untilthe unit returns to an area with GSM cellular service.
