These rules and regulations shall be effective until May 15 of the followingyear."Attached are current Board Policies 2010, 2015, and 2725 as well as Administrative Procedure2015 regarding Student Trustee privileges.The privileges that are currently awarded to the Student Trustee include:• Compensation of $100 per month.• Mileage reimbursement to and from Board Meetings.• The privilege to have an advisory vote on all matters, except those considered in closedsession. The advisory vote shall not be included in determining the vote required to carryany measure before the Board.• The privilege to serve a term of one year, commencing on May 15.The Board has the discretion to approve any of the following:• The privilege to have an advisory vote on all matters, except those considered in closedsession. The advisory vote shall not be included in determining the vote required to carryany measure before the Board.• The privilege to make and second motions.• The privilege to attend closed sessions, other than closed sessions on personnel or collectivebargaining matters.• The privilege to receive compensation.• The privilege to serve a term of one year, commencing on May 15.RECOMMENDATIONThe Superintendent/President recommends the Board use its discretion at this time to approvecertain privileges for the Student Trustee.
