LOUIS COUNTY, MINNESOTAUpon motion by Commissioner Sweeney, supported by Commissioner Raukar, resolutionsnumbered 504 through 512, as submitted to this Board on the consent agenda, wereunanimously adopted as follows:BY COMMISSIONER SWEENEY:RESOLVED, that the official proceedings of the St. Louis County Board of Commissionersfor the meeting of September 6, 2011, are hereby approved.Adopted September 27, 2011. No. 504RESOLVED, that the official proceedings of the St. Louis County Board of Commissionersfor the meeting of September 13, 2011, are hereby approved.Adopted September 27, 2011. No. 505WHEREAS, the St. Louis County Board designated an official system of unorganizedtownship roads by Resolution No. 71-637, dated October 26, 1971; andWHEREAS, the location of Unorganized Town Road 8002, also known as the Sheep RanchRoad, was described as being in Sections 19, 20, 21, and 22 of Township 67 North, Range 20West; andWHEREAS, Unorganized Town Road 8002, also known as the Sheep Ranch Road, was redesignatedas Unorganized Town Road 8197 by Resolution No. 09-491, dated November 3,2009; andWHEREAS, at the time of its original designation through the present day, UnorganizedTown Road 8002, known now as Unorganized Town Road 8197, was also located in Section15, Township 67 North, Range 20 West.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Louis County Board establishes thelocation of Unorganized Town Road 8197 to include the portion of road located in Section15, Township 67 North, Range 20 West, the centerline of which is described as follows:Commencing at the east ¼ corner of Section 15, Township 67 North, Range 20 West, thenceSoutherly along the east line of said section on an assumed bearing of South 01 degrees 26minutes 05 seconds West, a distance of 2169.11 feet to the point of beginning of thecenterline to be described; thence North 42 degrees 25 minutes 14 seconds West, a distanceof 1020.236 feet; thence South 63 degrees 04 minutes 28 seconds West, a distance of2270.99 feet to the approximate south line of said section there terminating.Adopted September 27, 2011. No. 506WHEREAS, the St. Louis County Public Works Department plans to replace County BridgeNo. 808 and to reconstruct approximately 1800 feet of the adjacent County State AidHighway 7 (Industrial Road) located approximately 1.6 miles west of State Aid Highway 33in Industrial Township (T51N-R17W); andWHEREAS, these improvements consist of bridge replacement and realignment, wideningand reconstruction of the roadway as determined necessary for the safety and convenience ofthe public; andWHEREAS, in addition to the existing highway right of way, additional land is required forthis construction (together with temporary construction easements).NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Louis County Board authorizes theacquisition of the necessary land and temporary easements for this project, payable fromFund 200, Agency 203001, Objects 636500 and 636600.RESOLVED FURTHER, that the State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources isrequested to provide St. Louis County with easement across State of Minnesota Trust landslocated in the Southeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 51 North, Range 17 West of the
