Have you triedplaying Spot <strong>the</strong> street where you walk along <strong>the</strong>street <strong>and</strong> look at who it’s named after? Sometimes<strong>the</strong>re are <strong>the</strong>mes to <strong>the</strong> street names in an area(rivers, trees, kings <strong>and</strong> queens, towns). Can you spotany of <strong>the</strong>se?What <strong>about</strong> trying out ‘Uphill <strong>and</strong> downhill’ as youwalk along, where you try to imagine what <strong>the</strong> roadwould look like completely flat <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> building werenot <strong>the</strong>re, could you draw a picture of it?Stroll, sketch <strong>and</strong> snap is also great fun where you look<strong>for</strong> l<strong>and</strong>marks near where you live – big <strong>and</strong> unusualbuildings or maybe things like statues or hills. Ifsomeone said to you “What does <strong>the</strong> area you livein look like?” <strong>the</strong>se are <strong>the</strong> sorts of places you mightshow <strong>the</strong>m. This was <strong>the</strong> firstever Australian tour to Engl<strong>and</strong>.• There are 10 ways in which a batsman can get out in cricket: Caught,Bowled, Leg Be<strong>for</strong>e Wicket, Run <strong>Out</strong>, Stumped, H<strong>and</strong>ling <strong>the</strong> ball, Obstructing<strong>the</strong> field, Hit <strong>the</strong> ball twice, Hit Wicket, Timed out.• Early bowlers would bowl <strong>the</strong> ball underarm – <strong>and</strong> cricket records tell storiesof great underarm lob bowlers.
