The part of the competitive intelligenceis the benchmarking.Competitive intelligence covers all methods,forms of activities, human resources, etc. But wehave a more global approach. For these solutions weproduce special software, but we ourselves do notengage in competitive intelligence procedures exceptsome special contracts we carry out.We also supply Situation Centers for high authorities– Presidents, Ministers, CEO of big companies.These Centers could be in different forms dependingon the client requirements: Situation ModelingComplexes; Complexes for Strategic DecisionSupport; Information and Analysis Centers (forexample, of the Minister); or CompetitiveIntelligence Centers of big entity. This is the meaningand intent of our business.- Do you work for Russian or foreignclients or for both of them? Who is the maincustomer?- We work in Russian market actively since ourpartners generally are the government entities.Two Situation Centersalready function inGovernor’s Administrationin Sakha-Yakutia,Irkutsk. We have a solutionin Belarus; workwith some Russiaregions such Vologda,Penza Region (Central Russia), Kazakhstan,Uzbekistan.We also will take part in a tender for the supplyof Situation Center to the Governor of Tiyumen.- Is there any oil?- There is oil, gas, many other mineral resources. InTiyumen they construct their own Situation Center.As long as the client is a state, it is necessary for us totake part in tender together with other companies.Although we are probably the only company whichdistributes such a commercial-off-the-shelf productand have successful implementation. We supply theproduct and by its means the full multilateral monitoringof mass media plus analysis of informationreceived form different sources are fulfilled.- How are your activities known? Is somebodysearching for you or writing to you or vice versa?- This is a complicated question. This kind of businessis rather close. In a general case we do not advertisewidely except our Web-site on the Internet. Andmailing is strictly direct. We work with the clientstate and they simply announce the tender for supplyof certain items, for example, supply of aSituation Center for the Governor. We monitor thisinformation and in accordance with the law we sendour documentation and take part in the tender.- Concerning foreign countries, now we activelycooperate with the South-East region: Malaysia,Indonesia, Philippines. From other part we workwith CIS countries, as I said, Administration ofPresident of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, andBelarus. Another region is the Middle East. There wehave contact with Saudi Arabian authorities andhave proposed them a special center for security ofHajj (pilgrimage). We offer software to guarantee thesecurity of the pilgrimage process.
