Click Find.Compound SearchesIn larger catalogs, finding records with a single search criterion may notbe efficient. To avoid sifting through tens of thousands of records, youmay need to use more than one search criterion. For example, you maybe looking for a photographic image in EPS format.Cumulus lets you do this in two different ways:• You can enter a compound search (more than one search criterion),OR• You can narrow the results of a simple or compound search. (See“Narrowing the Search,” p. 48.)Building a compound search isn’t much more difficult than building asimple search. You just have to think in terms of what you are askingCumulus to do, and then translate that request into the search fields. Forexample, your request, in English, might read:“I need all records in the Photographs category that have ‘tree’somewhere in their names.”Translated into Cumulus-speak, this becomes:• Category is Photographs and Record Name contains tree. Now let’s break it down into separate search statements, called “conditions.”• Category is Photographs
