Most importantly:we have been laughing a lot and we have had great fun since we started<strong>eTwinning</strong>.456The main benefit has been to use modern foreign languages instead of only tostudy them. This motivates pupils to learn much more easily. Also, doing the<strong>eTwinning</strong> projects involves subject matter of other disciplines. As a result, aslanguage teachers and pupils, we now integrate content and language. We learnabout environmental, social, cultural, political and geographical issues while atthe same time learning English, French, German and Spanish to make better useof information and communication skills. “Made in Europe” is not a one timeproject, it is an ongoing experience and learning process. It is our future.Changed my view? No. Improved my teaching? Yes! I have always been attractedto new, interesting and fun ways of teaching and as a consequence, integratingICT in classroom activities was a challenge to me. Being able to use ICT inteaching has given me opportunities I have never had before. The moment I gotinvolved in <strong>eTwinning</strong> and was able to use its tools, as well as the Moodlesoftware, I had the opportunity to be creative and explore teaching methodstogether <strong>with</strong> friends in other countries. I still can’t believe how easy it is. I knewnext to nothing about ICT two years ago. I found out you do not have to knowa lot to be able to use the tools well, to constantly improve and to get involved.Jump right in!72
