Accord<strong>in</strong>g to the KMK, <strong>in</strong>stitutions should choose thetitles of their degrees depend<strong>in</strong>g on the subject area <strong>and</strong> on whether the programme is moreadequately described as theory-oriented or applied (Chapter 2). The KMK recommendsgeneral titles for theory-oriented <strong>and</strong> specific titles for applied degrees. It is therefore <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>gto see which choices <strong>in</strong>stitutions made.
