Patty’sselection as Headgirl was the culmination of atypically well-orchestrated campaign. Although bynature she was haughty and autocratic she could alsobe beguilingly charming. She was tall, beautiful andcharismatic and her academic brilliance attractedconsiderable accolades from her tutors.
