Triggers 9Pulse Width TriggerPulse Width (glitch) triggering sets the oscilloscope to trigger on a positiveor negative pulse of a specified width. If you want to trigger on a specifictimeout value, use Pattern trigger in the Trigger Menu (see “PatternTrigger" on page 116).1 Press the [Trigger] key.2 In the Trigger Menu, press the Trigger softkey; then, turn the Entry knobto select Pulse Width.3 Press the Source softkey; then, rotate the Entry knob to select a channelsource for the trigger.The channel you select is shown in the upper- right corner of thedisplay next to the polarity symbol.The source can be any analog or digital channel available on youroscilloscope.4 Adjust the trigger level:• For analog channels, turn the Trigger Level knob.Agilent InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series Oscilloscopes User's Guide 119
