WIT Employee HandbookAppendix A(b) Any employee, supervisor, faculty member or officer who prevents orattempts to prevent an individual from making a complaint of sexualharassment, or who fails to cooperate with or interferes in any way with theinvestigation of such a complaint, will be subject to the disciplinary actionsdescribed above.(c) Any employee, supervisor, faculty member or officer who retaliates ordiscriminates in any way against an individual who makes a complaint ofsexual harassment or assists in the investigation of such a complaint will besubject to disciplinary action.(d) Any employee, supervisor, faculty member or officer who becomes aware ofinstances of sexual harassment, even in the absence of a formal complaint,should report such to one of the investigators.(e) Any non-employee found to have committed an act of sexual harassmentmay be removed or barred from Wentworth’s premises, or other appropriateaction may be taken.3. UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENTa. Making Complaints Within WentworthIndividuals who believe that they have been discriminated against in the terms andconditions of their employment on the basis of their race, age, gender, sexualorientation, religion, national origin, disability, veteran’s status or other legallyprotected status should follow the complaint procedures described herein.b. Making Complaints Outside WentworthThere are state and federal agencies which share responsibility for administeringlaws protecting employees from various forms of discrimination, including sexualharassment.
