Minister,Decisions 138/2006: Outcome <strong>of</strong> the <strong>National</strong> <strong>L<strong>and</strong></strong> Summit <strong>and</strong> the InterimTransitional Strategy.The Council <strong>of</strong> Minister met on the 16 th <strong>of</strong> November, number 18 <strong>of</strong> its ordinarymeeting.The Council agreed on the above decision as follows:1. Endorse the changes made to the 20 resolutions <strong>of</strong> the <strong>National</strong> <strong>L<strong>and</strong></strong>Summit <strong>of</strong> 2006 (Attached).2. Endorse the interim transitional strategy to guide the process <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong>management <strong>and</strong> development <strong>of</strong> l<strong>and</strong> until the resolutions <strong>of</strong> the Summitcome to its full force.3. Endorse a Steering Committee to monitor the implementation <strong>of</strong> theoutcomes from the <strong>National</strong> <strong>L<strong>and</strong></strong> Summit <strong>of</strong> 2006. The members <strong>of</strong> theSteering Committee will include the Ministry <strong>of</strong> <strong>L<strong>and</strong></strong>s, Finance, Agriculture,Trade <strong>and</strong> Internal Affairs, Malvatumauri Council <strong>of</strong> Chiefs, <strong>Vanuatu</strong> CulturalCentre, Private Sector, Woman’s Affairs <strong>and</strong> a Youth Representative.4.
