Regulator and Stakeholder engagementThroughout all aspects of the work described in this report, Sellafield Ltd seeks to maintainopen and honest communication with regulatory bodies and a wide range of otherstakeholders. The methods of communication are varied and include general updates andavailability of large amounts of information via the sellafieldsites.com website; through toattendance at specific meetings; and the production of detailed written documents (this reportfor example).The following provides further detail on the main processes for communication andengagement.4.1 General Engagement with the Environment AgencyThe Environment Agency specifies the following requirements on Sellafield Ltd for theparticles in the environment work scope:As part of managing the delivery of work against the above specification, Sellafield Ltd andthe Environment Agency communicate regularly via telephone, email, letter; and face-to-facemeeting on the full range of aspects associated with this work. Face-to-face meetings aretypically held at least quarterly throughout the year, providing an opportunity for generalupdates to be provided and for specific items to be discussed.
