Pathfinder Orange Book Version 2.2.48.2 Folders in the Inbox8.2.1 InboxThe Pathfinder Inbox is divided into so-called folders. Each user receives the “Inbox” folder, whichinitially holds all the Dossiers.A user can create any number of folders and store his Dossiers in them. Folders always belong toan individual and are available only to that user. Once a Dossier has been transferred into a folder,all changes to that Dossier also appear in the folder. The Dossier is therefore permanently stored inthe folder.All folders in Pathfinder are at the same hierarchy level, i.e. one folder cannot contain other folders.Only one level of folders is permitted.E.g.:8.2.2 Creating a folderA new folder is created by selecting the plus sign in a list of folders. Each folder must have aunique name. Folder names must only contain standard characters (a to z incl. “ “ (blanks)), digitsand the underline character “_”. No special characters are permitted in folder names.8.2.3 Deleting a folderA folder can be deleted using the minus sign on the folder control bar for the folder in question.All the Dossiers in that folder will then appear again in the Inbox folder.8.2.4 Changing the sequence of foldersFolders can be moved up or down by using the arrow symbolsthe folder in question.on the folder control bar for8.2.5 Lost DossiersIf a Dossier has been accidentally put in the wrong folder, or the user has forgotten in which folderthe Dossier is saved, it can be found by using the search functions. (See also: 22. Search mode ).In the list of hits resulting from the search, the folder containing the Dossier is shown as a "link".8.3 MessagesDossier-related messages can be sent by Pathfinder to the users. (new since 2.2.3) The systemsends these messages automatically to the users via email. The messages relating to a Dossierare shown in the Inbox underneath the Dossier. The message display can be opened or closed foreach Dossier.8.3.1 New messageThe subject field for a new message is shown in bold.
