<strong>Class</strong> <strong>Notes</strong>1958–1959graduate and a member of Delta KappaEpsilon, for which he served as treasurer.Active on campus, he played on thelacrosse team and was involved ingeology club, The <strong>Lafayette</strong>, NewmanClub, and Scabbard & Blade.On Oct. 15, William Dagistinopassed away in Boca Raton, Fla. Bill’swife of 50 years, Armida “Armi”; fourchildren; and eight grandchildrensurvive him. Bill was an Army veteran, aPhi Kappa Psi brother, and a dedicatedfan of Notre Dame football. A memberof South Florida Railway Museum, hewas an avid model railroader.Spence Manthorpe attended theMarquis Founders Dinner with wifeSandy and saw five classmates there.He reports that Don Kress has a newlove, the theater, and played thecantankerous innkeeper in Annie GetYour Gun. Don now lives in Tennessee.Also present were Doug and ConnieCherry. I understand a big celebrationis planned for Doug’s retirement. BobBeane was a cool-looking dude. EdAlkire received congratulations onhis recent award.Lloyd Zachary ’57 is our age butgraduated earlier. He spends much timein California and four months on Florida’seast coast each year.
