Parameterization2.6.3 I/O addressesFo the communication between the control and the individual axes of an ADI4 DPslave, it is necessary that the setpoint and the actual value of an axis have thesame I/O address.The SlaveOM takes this requirement into account automatically when an ADI4 DPslave is inserted in the configuration.DialogDialog box: “DP Slave Properties”Tab: “Configuration”PROFIBUS Partner, I/O address: OKNotice The setpoint and actual value of an axis must have the same I/O address.Actual value I address = Setpoint Q addressIf the ADI4 DP slave is inserted in an S7 project with a copy operation (for example,from another S7 project), the I/O addresses are assigned solely through“HW Config.”This could result in an axis receiving different I/O addresses for the setpointand actual value. The I/O addresses must be manually corrected in this case.To avoid access conflicts between the PROFIBUS-DP drives and the I/O modules,values 272 must be set as I/O addresses for the ADI4 DP slave.2.6.4 ConsistencyThe default setting with respect to the consistency of the I/O data is:– Total lengthConsistency setting “Total length” means:Direct access from the PLC user program (e.g. byte, word or double word) tothis address range, is not permitted by the PLC operating system.(SINUMERIK 802D) and (SINUMERIK 840Di)Access to this address range must be performed via the system functions SFC14 and SFC 15.The system functions SFC 14 and SFC 15 guarantee consistent reading/writingof the axis data.2-38 Siemens AG, 2003.
