ParameterizationIf the 611U conformant mode has been parameterized for an axis to be homed, theaxis-specific signal for the selection of the signal source must be set in the digitaloutput word of the ADI4 from the PLC user program, before requesting the function“Reference mark search (zero mark or BERO)” in the encoder control word. The following Subsections 2.8.8 to 2.8.10 show the principle system structure andthe respective boundary conditions of the individual homing types.NoticeIn the 611U conformant mode, the signal source (digital output word: Zero mark ofthe encoder or rising edge of the BERO) defined once for the homing of an axisfrom the PLC user program cannot be changed. If the signal source specificationhas to be changed, a POWER ON reset of the ADI4 DP slave must first be performed.(SIMOTION)With 611U conformant mode, the appropriate axis-specific bit must be set to 0 (encoderzero mark) in the digital output word from the PLC user program when homingan axis via BERO and zero mark.Without 611U conformant mode, homing is always to the zero mark of the axis.Dialog: EndCompleting the “DP Slave Properties” dialog box with “OK” enters the data andcloses the dialog box.Step 1: EndWith this, Step 1 of the ADI4 DP slave parameterization (see Subsection 2.4.1,Page 2-33) is completed.
