Prof. VL Chopra, Former Member, PlanningCommission presided over the functionTechnology adoption award to flower growerSh. Ranjit Singh, a progressive flower grower initiated cultivation of commercial cut flowers likelilium and chrysanthemum at VPO Chachian, Kangra (H.P.). In view of the income realized by thegrower by adopting IHBT technologies, he was awarded “Technology Adoption Award-2009” byIHBT.136
