Julia Ayer Minier born Dec. 28, 1889 married John Townsend Smith who died1952 at Phoenix, Arizona.Abraham Minier son of Christian, was born 8 May 1782 in Northampton Co.Pa. where he was baptized. He was about 5 or 6 years old when his father cameto Big Flats. About 1808 he went to Canisteo, Steuben County, N. Y. for a newsettlement with his older brother Henry. Both returned about 1820 to Big Flats.His wife was Hannah Hopper whose father had about 1812 removed from ChemungCounty to the Gene see River valley just west of Canisteo. A familyrecord says Abraham was killed by a falling tree.
