Letters <strong>of</strong> Administration issued to his brothers John& Sylvester mention no wife. His gravestone in Asbury Churchyard describeshim as "Major General Daniel Manier" (War <strong>of</strong> '12 service). The large brickstructure at Lansing crossroads, at one time called Rogue's Harbor Inn, wasbuilt by Daniel Minier around 1830 it is said. It is a notable landmark in thetownship.83
