From there they went to WallaWalla, Washingt::m Territory where he practiced for about a year and a half(1876-7). After that they settled in Waitsburg where he became favorablyknown. In 1884 he was Mayor of the city before that having been Justice of thePeace and also the preacher in the .church when no minister was available.Much of the story of his life came from his wife1s grandniece whose mother,Jessie Harback was married from the Minier home when on a visit there fromIllinois. A letter from William Minier dated 1883 to his nephew Fred M.Howell describes the conditions under which one would live at that time inWashington Territory. (in the possession of the compiler)William and Rosemary Haven Minier had no childrenAbraham Minier son of Christian Jr. & his first wife was born about 1810and was married in 1830 to Louisa Knapp. In 1850 Abraham Is home was inWells township, Bradford Co.
