The Toe StiltSandals can be worn attached to the Ponseti® Bar in accordance with thestandard Ponseti bracing protocol. They can also be worn for short periodsoutside of regular bracing times in order to help the patient maintain gooddorsiflexion by stretching the Achilles tendon and helping to keep the footflexible. This is achieved by the placement of a wedge underneath thetoe section of the sandal. This has the effect of the feet always being in adorsiflexed position of 10 degrees when standing.
