hope everyone had a great summer.
We have been lucky in the Northeast
with all this great weather. Thanks
to Laura Johnson Vittum for helping
gather news this go-round. Laura
heard from a few of our classmates.
Corey Lagana Stabach reports that
she is living in Wethersfield, CT,
with her husband of 13 years, Jay,
and their 3 children, Will, who is
10, Nathan, who is 6, and Lily, who
is 4. Corey is home with the kids
during the day, and in the evenings
she teaches at Rockville High School
for Vernon Adult Ed. Life is good!
¶ Laura Johnson Vittum is living in
Burlington, MA, and is a Math Coach
for the Waltham Public Schools.
She and her husband, Rick, own a
personal training business, VITT PE.
Sarah Colman Walsh reached out to
let her know that she has recently
moved to Fairhaven, MA. ¶ On the
baby news front: Congratulations go
out to Ann Marie Borek Paulukonis and
her husband, Michael, who welcomed
their first baby. Michael Joseph
Jr. arrived on Aug. 13, 2010. Leigh
Devereaux Young added to her family
with baby Nora Taylor Young in July.
Nora is beautiful and was welcomed
home by big sisters Madeline and
Paige and big brother Declan. ¶
Valerie Williams Sumner is celebrating
her son Nathan’s first birthday
this fall, and her oldest, Olivia, will
be starting kindergarten in Millis.
¶ As for me, Andrea List, my oldest,
Anthony, is entering 4th grade, and
my twins, Jack and Avery, are going
into 1st grade. I am still working
full-time in Framingham at IDG, and
last Oct. I took on a new role as Client
Relationship Manager. ¶ Hope you
all have a wonderful fall and winter.

Greetings Class of 1998! I hope you
have all survived this summer’s
brutal heat! Our classmates have
provided some wonderful updates
that I’m happy to share with you all:
¶ Kim Sullivan was recently married
to Tony Ferraro, and they are
currently living in Medford. Fellow
Regis grads in attendance included
Jill Bertolino Chisholm ’99, Jessica
Moffat Ressler ’99, Elizabeth Avery
’00, and Julia Mastronardi Yakovich
’00, Tara Sullivan Esfahanian ’96,
Kacy Soderquist ’96, Mary Iannella
’02, Julie Bertolino ’01, and Jaime
Hansen Caruso ’98. ¶ Kate Hernandez
competed in the SheROX triathlon
this summer and finished in 1:57:59.
She also reported that Faith Braley
Minutolo had a baby girl, Evangeline
Noelle, in Aug., and that both mother
and baby are doing well! Additionally,
she shared that Shannan Daley has
a new home in New London, CT. ¶
Mariah Donovan is living in Natick,
MA, and completing her 2nd year
in Sales at MathWorks. She’s also
reported that she has replaced
her running shoes with a bike! ¶
Rosie Martone is still the owner and
chef at her restaurant in Boston,
Figaro’s. She is starting the Master
Chef Program at Le Cordon Bleu in
Cambridge this fall and hopes to open
an additional restaurant in Boston
soon! Rosie just returned from visiting
Marie Hoegerle in Philadelphia,
where she is the Operations Manager
at the Marriot. ¶ Tanya Rogers is an
Assistant Professor and Chair of the
Department of Academic Development
at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of
Technology in Boston. She is continuing
to enjoy living in Providence, RI,
with her fabulous 1½-year -old daughter,
Sami! ¶ Lisa Spitz and family
moved to Lexington, MA, in May. Her
son, Aviv, heads off to kindergarten
this fall. ¶ Jessica Nowosielski Flaherty
returned to school last summer and is
starting her new career as a Biology
and Physical Science teacher at
Norwood High School this fall. Her
family, dogs and cat included, still
live in Weymouth, and her eldest of
2 daughters starts kindergarten in
the fall. ¶ Miriam Finn Sherman has left
Mass. Eye and Ear to (re)join Regis
College as its Chief Development
Officer. She previously worked in the
Development Office from 2004–2006.
She is joining Regis’s Leadership
Team, heading up Alumni and
Fundraising programs. This summer,
Miriam and her husband, Jeff, visited
Jennifer McMaster Beasley and her
husband, Jay, in Easton, PA. Jennifer
and Jay moved back to PA in last
Sept. before the birth of her 3rd child,
Alexander. She had 2 other children,
Joseph, who is 4, and Gracie, who is 2.
¶ Congratulations for all of your successes,
new homes, new babies, and
personal accomplishments! For all
members of the Class of 1998, if you
haven’t joined our group on Facebook,
please do so and encourage those who
haven’t been in touch previously to do
so as well. Never hesitate to send me
your updates—you don’t have to wait
for a Regis Today deadline … just
send them in as they happen. ¶ On a
personal note, I’d like to address the
Regis College community at large. As
a representative for the Class of 1998,
I would like to extend our deepest
sympathies and condolences for the
recent loss of Lynn Tripp Coleman.
During our time at Regis, Lynn was
an invaluable resource and an exemplary
role model. For me especially,
Lynn was also a dear friend. She is
missed by us all, but her impact on
our lives and time at Regis will never
be forgotten. In the spirit of our Alma
Mater, I feel compelled to say that
we will continue to feel the impact of
Lynn Tripp Coleman on our lives and
will evermore “twine in our hearts for
you, undying flowers.” Until we meet
again, Amy.

com ¶ Hello, ’99ers! Hope all is well
with everyone! Let’s start with a big
congrats to some of the new moms
out there. ¶ Katie Harrington-Morrill
and her husband, Mike, welcomed
a new addition to their family. Baby
Ethan was born last Dec. and is cute
as can be. The Morrills are living
on the North Shore in Georgetown,
MA. ¶ Loren Devereaux-Wren and
her husband, Joe, expanded their
brood by 3. Triplets Trevin, Kathryn,
and Sean were born in July and join
big brother Christian at home in
CT. ¶ Molly Maginnis-Butler and her
husband, Chris, also added to their
family. Baby Declan was born in
Aug. Big sis Keegan has been put in
charge of making sure her brother
doesn’t give in to Dad’s Yankee influence
and remains a Red Sox fan. ¶
Carrie Blais Powers has been very
busy working part time and staying
at home part time with her 3 kids,
ages 9, 7, and 3. Last Dec., she finally
got her LICSW and is looking forward
to beginning postgraduate work in
infant/parent mental health in Sept.
¶ Simone McGuire-Grant checked in
from her home in Olympia, WA: “My
husband and I just had a little girl in
May, in addition to our 2 boys. I am
still working as a police officer. If anyone
is ever out this way, they can stop
on by! It’s beautiful out here in the
NW by the water.” ¶ Jennifer Alberti
Atwood also checked in: “After earning
my Master of Education in 2007
from Rivier College, I’m now teaching
private art and sewing lessons to
children and adults from the comfort
of my own home. This will also be my
10th year volunteering for the Girl
Scouts of America. I’m planning on
taking the graduating girls for a tour
of Regis College in the fall.”
