Zoning, land use, and abutting subdivisions. The zoning classification and land use for the areabeing subdivided and for adjoining properties. Names and locations of abutting subdivisions andproperty owners.10. Stormwater management. Descriptions and general locations of structures and facilitiesrequired from stormwater management according to the county's erosion and sediment controlordinance.3.12Staff review.The subdivision agent shall review the preliminary plan for conformance with this ordinance, thecomprehensive plan, the zoning ordinance, and other applicable county ordinances and policies andprepare a report to be presented to the technical review committee.3.13Technical review committee.The technical review committee shall review the preliminary plan for compliance with applicablecounty and state regulations and requirements. The preparer of the preliminary plan and/or the applicantshall attend the technical review committee meeting and will be informed of any corrections needed to thepreliminary plan to bring it into compliance with applicable county and state regulations and requirements.3.14Action by agent.The subdivision agent shall review and approve preliminary plans. Approval shall be indicated on theface of the plan by signature of the subdivision agent.3.15Decision.Within sixty (60) days of submission of a completed application, the subdivider shall be advised ofthe decision of the subdivision agent. Such notification shall be by letter and/or legible markings on thesubdivider's copy of the preliminary plan. Unless the subdivision agent acts within this time limit, thepreliminary plan shall be deemed approved.3.16Limits of approval.The approval of the preliminary plan does not guarantee or constitute approval or acceptance of thesubdivision or authorization to proceed with construction or improvements within the subdivision.<strong>Bedford</strong> <strong>County</strong>, <strong>Virginia</strong>, Code of <strong>Ordinance</strong>s Page 15
