<strong>Appendix</strong> Acircumvent the intent of this paragraph is prohibited. Street names shall be indicated on the preliminaryand final plats, and shall be approved by the subdivision agent. Names of existing streets shall not bechanged except by approval of the board of supervisors.6.18Street name signs.A street name sign shall be required as a result of the creation of a new joint use driveway, newsubdivision street, or the creation of three (3) or more parcels being served by an existing joint usedriveway. The developer shall be responsible for the cost of the sign. Installation will be provided by thecounty at the then existing rate. The developer shall make payment to the planning department prior tofinal plat approval being given. Street name signs shall be designed in accordance with county standards.6.19Street lights.Installation of street lights shall be required in all multifamily and townhouse developments and formajor subdivisions in the Growth Management Areas shown on the map adopted as <strong>Appendix</strong> B of this<strong>Ordinance</strong> in accordance with design and specification standards approved by the planning director.Sec. 6.20Reserve strips.The creation of reserve strips shall not be permitted adjacent to a proposed street in such a manneras to deny access from adjacent property to the street.6.21Street extension notification signs.
